Browse by band and application. Filter for setups that need extras (LNA, filters, dish + LNB, downconverter) and see at a glance when something is outside stock RTL-SDR range.
Out of RTL Range = outside 24–1766 MHz.
Dish+LNB = satellite IF via LNB into your SDR.
Typical SDRs = radios that commonly work well.
RTL-SDR stock range assumed: 24–1766 MHz

Mini glossary & how-to
- Dish + LNB — a satellite dish with a Low-Noise Block that downconverts microwave to 950–2150 MHz IF for your SDR.
- Downconverter — external mixer/LO that shifts high bands (e.g., S/X-band) down into your SDR’s tuning range.
- LNA/Filters — low-noise amplifier and band-pass filters to improve SNR and reject out-of-band signals.
- Doppler — for LEO sats, expect several kHz drift; use AFC or tracking.
- Mode/Modulation — voice: AM/FM/SSB; data: FSK/GMSK/AFSK; digital video: DVB-S/S2; sat images: HRIT/HRPT/LRPT.
